Happy Birthday to me!

Well, besides my family, my Mom was the first to wish me Happy Birthday!  Kim was second (she would have been first, I think, had I seen the email before my mom called me), and then I think my sister Terri called me, but I was on a conference call and couldn’t answer, and now my mother-in-law texted me on my cell phone (which I am very impressed with!)  My sister-in-law sent me an e-card too…I looked at that WHILE on the conference call.  I think everyone at work forgot.  The person who usually sends the card around…her daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor last weekend, and she hasn’t been here this weekend.  (BTW…they think it is not malignant, but won’t find out until they do the surgery in May).  Oh, and Miss Tammy said happy birthday to me too, because I asked her if my husband had requested her babysitting services, so she knew today was my birthday (he hadn’t…but it’s expensive to go out AND pay for a sitter).

One of Seamus’ friends that we invited RSVP’d to his birthday party next weekend (OK…his grandma RSVP’d, but you get the idea)…so it’s good to at least know that!  Seamus is excited about his party…he knows it is for his birthday, and it is with the trains.  I still can’t believe I have a 3-year old kid.  It just seems like yesterday that he was taking his first bites, and now he’s completely toilet-trained during the day.

I’ll be in Texas next week…so I’m seriously hoping that the kids are in GOOD HEALTH next week!!!!

Uploading a video right now, and also pictures

Right now, I’m uploading a video to blogger. I have no idea what it is of, since I can’t view .mov files on this computer, but once blogger ‘translates’ it, I’ll know what it is about! Those of you who visit my blog regularly, have seen pics from my camera phone there lately. There’s a website, called TwitPic, that allows the pictures to appear on Twitter. I figure, if I’m going to do that, then I just add the blog as a contact on my phone, and voila! Pictures in 2 places! You know, some of you could do the same thing! I’d love to see my Rochester family a little more often! (hint, hint!) It’s not hard to do…it’s very easy to set up a blog, and then have pictures you take with your camera phone (and who doesn’t have one of those, eh?) sent to your blog for all to see.

The kids have been doing OK. Seamus hasn’t been listening to his teachers at daycare, so today, I told him that if he had his listening ears on, and I didn’t hear that he was being mean to his friends (his teacher said that he hasn’t been making ‘good choices’ throughout the day) and was making good choices instead of bad ones…then he would help me make dinner. This is actually a good thing. I told him we’d be making noodles…fettuccine alfredo…and not out of a jar. Some low-fat recipe. Ciara has been very fussy (and having downright melt-downs) when she gets home in the evening. She wants to be picked up…all the time!

I’ll be sending out the link to the April pictures soon…you’ll see a bunch of them where Mike is standing in front of different scrapbooking stores holding a booklet. This was for the ‘Beat the Heat’ Shop Hop…we went to 10 different scrapbooking stores on 2 different Saturdays. The first one was to the scrapbooking stores in the northern part of the Valley, and then last weekend was to the stores in the southern part of the Valley. I doubt I’ll get a lot more April pictures, since I’ll be in Texas next week for work.

I’m still trying to upload this video…I keep getting errors…so we’ll see if I’m successful right now, or if it will have to wait!
